Right after school, your not so energetic boyfriend and you would meet up next to the bathroom so you could walk out together.

Today, he was running a bit late. A few more minutes of you waiting… where was he…? You texted him, asking if he was okay. By this point, the hallways had cleared out, only an occasional kid walking by. Every footstep, you hoped it was Michael.

When he finally arrived, you looked up at him, your mouth opening to say ‘about time!!’ You immediately stepped forward when you saw his nose bleeding and his cheek bruised.

“What happened.” You would ask, though you were pretty sure you knew what had happened. He got into another fight.

“Nothing- I’ll be fine.” Michael brushed it off. You practically dragged him to your car, where you took out your first aid kit and started to clean up his wounds.
