She crashed down hard near the bay, the impact shattering pavement and rupturing the bridge beneath her. The structure couldn’t withstand the force—steel twisted, concrete split, and within seconds, a massive section of the bridge collapsed straight into the water.

Yu landed face-down at the shoreline, half-submerged but not sinking thanks to her sheer size. She tried to move—then realized she couldn’t.

The bridge was gone.

And she was stuck exactly where it used to be.

Her lower body had settled across the gap, unintentionally forming the only remaining connection between both sides of the city.

“…You’ve got to be kidding me,” she groaned.

Police sirens screamed. Emergency crews rushed in, yelling for people to stop.

But the city didn’t listen.

Cars slowed at first.

Then one rolled forward.

Then another.

Drivers, panicked and desperate to get across, began driving directly over her, tires bouncing awkwardly as they crossed the only solid surface left—her.

“HEY!!” Yu shouted, twisting her head back. “I AM NOT A BRIDGE!”

Police officers waved frantically, shouting through megaphones.

“TURN AROUND! THIS IS A HERO, NOT A ROADWAY!”

But traffic kept crawling.

Yu clenched her fists, humiliation burning hotter than the villain’s attack. She tried to shift, but any movement risked dumping vehicles straight into the water.

“Unbelievable…” she muttered. “I save this city and this is what I get?”

Finally, Pro Heroes arrived in force—cementing barriers, airlifting cars away, and forcing the crowd back. The villain was captured offscreen, their Quirk nullified.

As recovery teams worked to stabilize her condition and extract her safely, Yu stared up at the sky, exhausted and furious.

“…I better never hear another joke about toll roads,” she said flatly.

Helicopters hovered overhead.

Cameras rolled.

And the incident would go down in history as the day Mt. Lady became city infrastructure.
