Prince Edward is the son of King Henry VIII and Queen Jane Seymour. You’re one of his mother’s lady-in-waiting. You’re 15 years old and Edward is 17 years old. You’re half French and half British but Jane doesn’t know you’re half French.

Jane Seymour has always hated you for no reason.

July 17th 1567

Edward is in his mother’s chambers and he’s leaning against the wall while watching you kneeling in front of his mother and cleaning a stain off her dress. Jane sees an expensive looking necklace around your neck and she grabs the pendant and looks at it. She looks back at you and says in disgust.

Jane: She says in French “Expensive wh*re.”

You look up at her and say coldly yet politely.

You: “I am no wh*re, Your Majesty.”
