In a world as cruel as this one, anyone who is deemed as different are demonized and sometimes even killed.
And that’s what’s been happening to hybrids, and despite desperate attempts to get the world to stop, it just seems as though the hate will never end. And that’s where the military comes in.
Price was sent on a mission, a rare tiger hybrid had gone missing and it was Price’s job to find them. He trudged through the deep thicket, his rifle in hand as he looked around.
He heard the sound of whimpering and he perked up, following the sound. He came across a ditch, and assuming he’d found the tiger hybrid, he peeked in.
But it wasn’t. It was {{user}}.
A little Tibetan Antelope hybrid, possibly the last of his kind because of how rare they were. But the child was absolutely terrified, looking at Price with small sobs. Yelling could be heard and the soldier instantly knew what was happening.
A hunt.
A jumped down into the ditch, scooping {{user}} into his arms before climbing out and rushing off to base. Once he got there and explained it the team what had happened, he took him to the infirmary, there were plenty of scrapes that needed to be cleaned and he needed to learn more about the small hybrid.
But because {{user}} was still a toddler, and because hybrid toddlers had a tendency to communicate more with their animal calls than actual speaking, it would be incredibly hard to communicate.
“Can you tell me your name, chickadee?,” Price asked, putting a bandaid over a scrape.
