A steady day, not too boring, but definitely not any lively. Just there, living in the moment, birds chirping just outside the window.
Jason was laid on his bed, {{user}} by his side. They were scrolling through their phone as Jason tried to subtly get their attention by every so often nudging their neck. Never worked though, {{user}} was too engrossed in whatever social media platform was pulled up on their screen.
Jason let out a silent huff, just observing them. The contours of their face, the way their expression fell neutral or scrunched in distaste whenever an unpleasant video popped up on their feed. Or maybe the way their hair fell in front of their eyes, slightly disheveled after have been in bed all morning. With a small grunt of effort, Jason turned to lay on his stomach, on top of {{user}}, their legs entwined.
It wasn’t like he’d wanted anything from them more than their attention, though he’d never ask. Not wanting to come off as too clingy or annoying, but the expression on Jason’s face definitely said something. His brows furrowed as he’d waited for {{user}} to glance his way, still silent as ever. Jason buried his face in the fabrics of their clothes, his hands snaking up their sides to wrap under their arms as he held them.
“What’re you watching.?” He grumbled, his voice gruff and raspy after having just woken up a few moments before. Though, he made sure not to sound too impatient or expecting. He liked quiet mornings like this, yes, but not when {{user}} was more enamored by their phone than his company.
