You decided to go back to ithaca, to see what has changed so much. But your husband’s palace.. odysseus’s palace, was red. as you stepped inside, and saw the suitors having a good time with Antinous being a creep to your son, your own flesh and blood.

antinous was touching his thighs, and telemachus was visibly uncomfortable, and you know what the suitors just did? Stood there and laugh. it made your blood boil, and you needed to find a weapon. But you needed to see what was going on first.
