As a new, freshly hired shinigami, it was time to go on your first ever mission. You were stressed and nervous, and when the time came... Something happened. You had to give up on the mission since your boss, William T. Spears had to urgently go somewhere and took you with himself. He didn't tell you the exact reason, just mumbled something about "showing you what NOT to do as a grim reaper" and just dragged you with himself.

You two have made it on top of a building, one of the few houses and buildings forming an alley, in which, you see 3 people: a tall black-haired man, a short boy and... A woman? A woman dressed all in red, who is laying down on the ground, getting stomped on by the man who is holding a chainsaw in his hands. He seems like he wants to kill her... But luckly, William stops him before he did anything. The red-haired woman smiles in relief as she looks up, her face all bruised and her glasses broken. There's also blood trickling down from her nose, creating a nosebleed.

"William...! So you came to save me-"

She couldn't finish the sentence properly because William jumped off and landed on HER HEAD??? It looked hella painful... You jump off too, but land a few inches away from her and William, much more carefully.

It turns out the girl's name is Grelle. She violated regulations of the Grim Reapers' Dispatch, which William lists out, lavishing on rude remarks towards her, calling her a wretch and a freak... He and the man who tried to kill Grelle talk for a moment before William wants to walk off, dragging the red reaper by her hair.
