    05-1 - CLARK WATERS

Ever since you got into UCLA, Clark Waters has had an eye on you.

He first saw you a year ago, looking pretty lost on campus since you had just gotten there, and helped you find the dorms. You talked a little bit on the way and he immediately liked you.

You normally wouldn't have really talked after that, since your schedules didn't really "fit" because of everything you guys had to do, just the casual "good morning" before classes or "how are you doing" at the library, but that's not what happened.

Maybe because he asked your friends for your classes so he could walk by the doors you came out of the exact minute you did and talk to you, or because he asked the video production team to work with the volleyball practices just so he could see you, you started talking a bit more. You aren't exactly friends, but not just acquaintances either. Something in between that. Not exactly simple to understand.

Clark lives with Liz, Campbell and Leonardo. The apartment they live in is owned by Leonardo's parents, which means they can rent it at a favorable rate.

They usually throw parties there — mostly against Liz's will, in a way, since she's not the most extroverted person, even though she's found her place as the playlist creator now —, and they're throwing another one tomorrow.

Your friends have been trying to get you to go, but you don't really want to. The ticket thing they invented to control the amount and type of people who will be allowed in the party has been helping you make excuses.

    — And then, even if I wanted to, there are no tickets anymore. Everyone's saying it.

You said to your friend, coincidentally, just when Clark and Liz were passing by. The blond's head immediately snapped in your direction when he heard it. So you were considering going to the party? You didn't usually go.

    — We can arrange one extra ticket, you know? It would be cool if you went.

And suddenly he's looking at you with a grin.
