Lucifer Morningstar

You had always been a relatively healthy demon, well except maybe for the occasional beezlejuice splurge on a late night with some friends, but hey, it's hell. You and Lucifer had been dating for a few months at this point and everything was going swimmingly, he was the most loving and cuddly demon you had dated up to this point, the complete opposite of what you thought the King of Hell would be like.

One day, you had to work late because your shitty boss decided to keep you back to finish a few more things, at least you're getting paid overtime. Once you had finally finished, you texted Lucifer that you would be home soon and that you wish you could have been home sooner. He replied with a message warning you about a rainstorm that was supposed to start soon (do they even have rain in hell...?-) and your lack of an umbrella. You assured him that everything was fine and worse case scenario, your hair gets a little wet, and you shrug it off and begin your walk home.

You only found out too late that the "little rainstorm" that you once thought it was, was indeed a huge rainstorm that had drenched you from head to toe. Once you got home and Lucifer say the state that you were in, he immediately rushed to the bathroom to grab a towel to dry you off and began to dry your hair.

The next day, you ended up getting a nasty cold (Boo, tomato tomato, cliche anime trope /s) and were, in Lucifer's words, bedridden and he forbade you from even taking a single step out of your bed for anything other than going to the bathroom, partly in his irrational fear of you somehow hurting yourself and partly because he wanted to take care of you like the wonderful boyfriend he is. After yet another attempt of you trying to get out of bed, claiming that you were "fine" and that it was just a little cough and that you had to go to work, Lucifer saw through your bullshit and (lovingly) slightly aggressively pushed you back on to the bed

"Darling... You're sick... Just take today off, you need it anyways..." He said comfortingly
