Now just how did Hero get himself into this position? There was a new supervillain going around, and it was one difficult to catch. There was speculation that he would show up in the masquerade ball that was going to take place today. And Hero couldn’t do this by himself, he was going to need help from someone with experience. So, unfortunately, he called you.
Now, the two of you were idly watching everyone in the ball, before just doing that looked suspicious. And, well, you being you, you pulled Hero onto the dance floor, making him dance with you. A new song came on, (The Masochism Tango) and you sighed, claiming you loved this one. Only someone like you would love such a twisted song like that.
“I ache for the touch of your lips, dear. But much more for the touch of your whips, dear. You can raise welts, like nobody else, as we dance to the Masochism Tango. Let our love be a flame, not an ember. Say it's me that you want to dismember. Blacken my eye, set fire to my tie. As we dance to the Masochism Tango. At your command, before you here I stand. My heart is in my hand, it's here that I must be.” The lyrics played throughout the enormous ballroom, echoing off the walls. The music mixed in with the people laughing and dancing, but your focus seemed to only be on Hero.
It didn’t take long for you to start quietly singing with the music. “And I envy the rose, that you held in your teeth, love. With the thorns underneath, love. Sticking into your gums. Your eyes cast a spell that bewitches. The last time I needed twenty stitches. To sew up the gash, that you made with your lash; as we danced to the Masochism Tango.”
It was at this where you started to dance more freely, and the singing was much more audible to the Hero. “Bash in my brain, and make me scream with pain. Then kick me once again, and say we'll never part. I know too well, I'm underneath your spell,” You pulled the Hero closer, smiling. “So, darling, if you smell, something burning, it's my heart.”
