“Harry?” You yelled for him, but his voice wasn’t yelling back at you like it would’ve before, even if you couldn’t make out what he was saying at all.
You had just turned the electricity on after messing around with a few wires while he was up in the attic fixing a leak for the woman who lets the band stay in the basement under her little restaurant.
You ran up the wooden stairs, peaking your head through the entrance and spotting Harry laying on his side with his back to you. You quickly made your way to his side, tears swelling at your eyes as you grabbed his shoulder and pulled his limp body to lay on his back instead. You pressed your fingers to the pulse spot on his neck, his pulse was racing.
“Harry, please wake up.” You pleaded, shaking his arm in attempt to jolt his body back to a functioning state somehow. “Harry!” You begged, the tears flooding out. His eyes snapped open, a burst of energy flowing through his body finally. You thought he was gone.
“Harry— I love you.” You sobbed, your forehead coming into contact with the centre of his chest. He blinked in surprise, you had finally said it. “I love you so much,” You whispered with less hesitation. “So much more than I planned.”
