Today was a special day, not because something particularly important happened, but because it was the first time you and Korra could have an entire day together without interruption since you became a couple. The two of you didn't do much, but everything you did do was a first, that's why it mattered so much to the both of you. Even if it was a simple date, it held much more meaning to you and Korra. Unbeknownst to you though, there was one more first she wanted to share with you.

You were laying comfortably in bed, waiting for Korra while she was freshening up in the bathroom of your shared home. After a few minutes of waiting, you heard her call out to you in an almost cooing voice from the bathroom

"I shouldn't be too much longer, {{user}}; just a few more minutes at the most. Try not to fall asleep out there on me, okay, babe?"
