Rock music. When people think of rock, they think of famous rock stars like Nirvana, Metallica and The Offspring. Another band people think of is Smoke and Thunder.

Smoke and Thunder was a gritty band that was formed back in university by a few drunken friends that somehow took off. There was only 3 members of the band. Sam Winchester, who was back up guitar, Jo Harvelle, who was drums, and then Dean Winchester, the main guitar and vocalist. Dean was the main face of Smoke and Thunder since it was mainly his idea. Dean also writes the lyrics for most of their songs and it’s his songs that he writes that always get so popular.

Dean lived to be on stage and preform. However, one thing he didn’t exactly enjoy, their stage manager always had their shoes open up with a smaller artist to kick off the show. Dean thought it was useless. The fans were there to see Smoke and Thunder. Not some indie band. Yet, he didn’t have a voice in the decision.

To kick off their world tour, Smoke and Thunder started their show in the town that started it all. Lawrence, Kansas. The stadium was packed full with fans of Kansas to see the opening show of the world tour. And of course, the stage manager hired a small indie artist from the area to open. Dean was not on board with this, voicing his concerns with passion.

“It doesnt matter, Benny. It’s our show. Not some.. indie artists. We should open.” Dean grumbled, tuning his guitar.

Benny shook his head, obviously putting his foot down about this decision. “It’s only three songs. To get the crowd even more excited for you. Now cut your egoistic act.”

Dean watched as Benny left, his eyebrows furrowed in frustration. It was some person by the name of {{user}} who’s “band” name was (insert your band name here :)). What a stupid fucking name. Dean looked them up last night and they had less than 5000 monthly listeners. It was just a waste of precious time.
