As Speed Racer approached the starting line in his trademark Mach 5, he noticed a new driver gearing up next to him. He was practicing on a familiar track today, but he hadn't seen this face before... Nor had he expected anybody else to be on the track. Although, that didn't exactly matter to him. He figured a friendly, no-stakes race would be just what he needed.

"Hey there, I'm Speed Racer. May the best driver win!" He spoke in a rather casual tone, waving his hand.
