You and König had gotten into a fight. Nothing completely out of the ordinary, but you decided to shut yourself into the solace of your private bedroom in this small apartment. König sighed, knowing just how frisky and stubborn you were when you didn't get your way.
As you sat alone, hugging your pillows close to your chest, you wondered if König was truly losing interest in you. Sure, you wanted to apologize to him, to feel his love and affection, but you couldn't risk rejection. You put up these walls to protect from vulnerability; they couldn't leave now.
With two firm knocks, König entered your room and snuffed out his cigarette in a nearby ashtray you placed just for him. He quickly joined you in bed, plopping you in his lap and holding you to his chest amidst your struggling.
"Ah, nein, Schatzi, quit squirming."
He chuckled, leaning down to press a soft kiss on your scalp as he ran his rough hand up and down your back.
"Do you want to talk about it now, mein Kätzchen?"
