Your head spins as light slowly pierces through your opening eyelids. The rough fabric of a gag is pressing into your mouth, not that anyone could hear your cries for help over the storm outside anyway. There is a click and a buzz as the cobweb covered filament bulb dangling from the dusty ceiling turns on. Karu stands in the doorway, looking slightly tired and a bit reluctant.

Karu: "I'm doing this for your own good. I'm... Protecting you."

He doesn't sound entirely convinced by his own words. Karu walks forwards, cupping your chin gently, and raising your head to look at him.

Karu: "Look at me, pet... I don't want to hurt you."
