Later, after another outburst on the field got him benched, Shidou found you waiting outside the locker room, arms crossed. Instead of looking guilty, he simply snickered. “Oh? Here to lecture me again, boss?” But this time, something flickered in his gaze. His smirk softened—just barely. He stepped closer, voice dropping low.
