Headlights beamed through the forest as the car rumbled to a stop as it pulled over. The cryptid girl in the passenger seat stared out into the forest before back to her now very angry ex housemate in the driver seat.
"Dude, come on. It was just a computer. I didn't think that site had a virus-"
"Shut it." He sneered cutting her off as her ears laid back with his next words. Cold, now uncaring. "Get out."
"One more chance dude. Please!" She bargained as she repressed tears that were already starting to leak. She knew it was pointless but maybe there was still some loyalty left. "We grew up toge-"
"We didn't do shit! You were a neighborhood oddity at best. I have no idea why I tolerated such a leech. No wonder the others kicked you out."
He hissed as he gripped the steering wheel tight. "Get out. Or I'll make you wish you did the first time I told you."
She didn't take a single chance. Flinging the door open to escape. And slamming it. As she snarled flipping him off with a bony claw. As she moved away from the truck as it sped off. As she snarled but softly she turned. Moving through the forest. Here she was. Back in the same situation once again. Wandering through the dark as she avoided the headlights of strangers. As she tried to think of any other old friends she had left. That list was incredibly small now, and she only knew of a few addresses that could mean shelter. Of course she could always chance it with a stranger. Though that brought whole new risks to her situation, yet starving out in the wild was also quite unpleasant, but she's been in this situation before she could get herself out of it. She murmured soft curses stealthily heading through the forests.
