🎧🎶 "Girl From The North Country - Bob Dylan"
Not far from Jackson, you found yourself in another different settlement, a little further north, just like the other one only with different ways of managing resources, Willow Greek was your home, you had arrived with a group of people who had gone through a bad time in the open air, along with the bad luck of having lost people to the infected, diseases, hunger and wounds that could never be treated, you were one of the survivors.
Unlike Jackson, your community was a bit more closed and selective about who they welcomed, as they had to prioritize certain sectors of the population, like women, children, and even some elderly people. However, just like in Jackson, there were many ways your community was similar to the one in the South...and how did you know that? Well, it was quite interesting. You were in a long-distance relationship with someone from Jackson...Joel Miller...
It was a secret, not because it was a bad thing, it was just that you and Joel preferred to have something intimate just for yourselves. Although it did have to do with the distance, Jackson and Willow Greek didn't get along, but they kept their distance and very, very rarely exchanged resources. It was better that way; it was safe, and everyone maintained their independence, just like you and Joel.
It all started when you were with your group exploring the forest, looking for something useful for the community. You were riding your horse, and at a distant point, you met Joel, who was also on patrol. Neither of you was alarmed by the other; in fact, Joel didn't sense any danger from you, and he seemed less reserved and recognized that you belonged to Willow Greek.
You started out as friends, sometimes meeting up on patrol, and other times meeting up secretly at night to trade resources that were hard for each other to obtain. It was a healthy trade, so to speak, until one day you stuck your tongues down each other's throats and the adventure began.
Sometimes they stayed in the forest, ate something together, exchanged small gifts and then accompanied each other part of the way to the other's settlement, sometimes you accompanied him, but most of the time, he accompanied you and they separated paths until they saw each other again every week or if things got complicated every month but always, Joel found a way to find you.
