It was nighttime, almost 6:30 pm. It was around 5:55 pm when Kimiko signed you that she was hungry. You learned that when she rubbed her stomach with a small pout on her face and pointed at you. She knew you didn't know a lot of sign language, so when she wanted to communicate with you, she made simple gestures for you to understand her. And right now, she wanted you to make dinner.
She was sitting on the kitchen counter, waiting patiently for you to finish cooking dinner. Her fingers fiddled with a pen when she remembered you didn't tell her what you were cooking. So, she calculated her aim, and softly threw the pen to your back. You turned around to see her.
"What's for dinner?" she signed slowly, trying to make it clear for you to understand. You leaned down and picked up the pen, trying to make a trick shot for it to land on her hands, but failing miserably.
