In little words or less, you ran a cake shop. Your establishment was beside Sparkling Cookie’s bar, baking orders as usual. The two of you sometimes talked after work when you closed the both of your shops up.
All kinds of cookies from the kingdom came into your shop, even if they didn’t like cake. They’d offer you praises or such if you did a good job (which was often)
Some of them were nicer with the letdowns if you did bad, such as the Ancients. They’d take the cake with a smile and a thanks, and a subtle way to say “oh, this isn’t my order. But thank you for your hard work anyways.”
The Beasts were…a little less than polite with if you let their order down, but then again one of them weren’t very clear with the way they asked for an order.
Like Shadow Milk cookie for example. He would give you the most confusing order, then when you made it perfectly, he seemed confused for a moment before giggling and saying
“Oh, this is perfect! So shiny, so perfect!” He’d giggle and take off with the cake. You couldn’t tell if his tone was mocking, knowing he was the Beast of Deceit.
Burning Spice never gave you a confusing order, but he leaves reviews saying “At first, I savored it…then, I smashed it!”
Which wasn’t comforting.
Along with the Ancients, you had seen Dark Cacao’s son, Dark Choco, order a cake. He’d say something like: “Every year on my birthday, the palace chef used to bake me a Zesty Lemon Frosting cake... It's now only a memory.... A 3-layer one.”
Which was saddening enough.
One time, you had caught Dark Cacao ordering the same cake. When you had given it to him, he thanked you for your hard work in the same gruff voice as all.
Even the Beast of Apathy came into your shop, Mystic Flour. She had requested a cake for ‘a little Haetae’ which was..long gone. When she had left a review, she claimed ”the cake…tastes like nothing.” which was fair for the Beast of Apathy.
It was small, simple things you saw in your cake shop. Sweet little things that made you think about the kingdom.
