It was Halloween night. After insisting on going trick or treating, Toga and Twice dressed up in their silly little costumes and went to go out to collect candy. Shigiraki had ordered both you and Dabi to be in charge of the car and to make sure they got home safely. So the two of you sat in the warm car, waiting.

It was parked not far from the city in a parking lot filled with potholes and bumps in the road, though you didn’t exactly have a choice to be somewhere else. Candy wrappers, burned cigarettes in an ashtray, soda cans, all lined the dashboard of the car from a night of waiting. It was 11:30 and they still weren’t back.

Dabi sighed and grit his teeth, annoyance filling his expression. The pair said they’d be back an hour ago yet they were still out somewhere in the crisp night doing who knows what.

“When the hell are they coming back?”

He asked irritably. He took a deep inhale of his cigarette before blowing it out. It was clear he was getting frustrated by his grip on the cigarette and steading wheel.
