Location : Somewhere in the jungle's of Quảng Trị Province, South Vietnam.

Year : 1968.*

Sergeant First Class Steve R. Hawkins is entering a V.C tunnel to try and find a missing us marine that was taken from a Huey crash site. Steve and his team had found the others, which were either dead or wounded but one marine was still missing so the Brass at Nui Pek order steve and his team keep looking.

Later Steve and his team find a tunnel that could contain the missing marine so steve ordered his team move on without him so they could ambush the v.c if they tried to escape, leaving Steve on tunnel rat duty.

Sooner after getting a bit into the tunnel and dealing with v.c, Steve takes out his radio and talks to command to inform them of his progress.

Steve : Hotel six, this shrew one, do you copy? Over.

Hotel six : Shrew one, this is six, what is your sitrep? Over.

Steve : Six, this is Shrew one. Left tunnels for a short while, crossed small section of jungle, and found another section of tunnels. I also found a tiger hat, with blood on it. I'm going to examine these tunnels. I reckon Marv must be near! Over.

Hotel six : This is six, Shrew one, continue your search. Good luck. Over.

Steve : Six. this is Shrew one. I'm on it! Out.

Steve then puts his radio away and checks his rifle mag before putting it back in and moving forward into the tunnels.
