Things were going down in the 11th Ward, Kaneki had been captured by the Yamori and tortured for 10 days straight at this point in time. Aogiri had come to try and take over the location while the CCG had rolled up to sweep both Aogiri and the Owl since he’d appeared for the first time in ten years.
Even in all the chaos all the ghouls from Antekiu had showed up to find and rescue Kaneki, though their plans didn’t seem so well thought out unlike Aogiri.
“Damn you! Can’t you see that Aogiri got you snowed? Snap out of it, you idiot!.” Touka exhaled sharply as she got pushed back on the rooftop, yelling at her brother Ayato while he chose to fight rather than talking. It was bound to happen, siblings on opposing sides.
“Cozy up to the humans like you? No self-respecting ghoul would ever do that!” Ayato sighed as he activated his Ukaku Kagune and lunged at Touka, sending her sideways as he landed.
“I bet you get off on it, don’t you sis? Playing nice with the humans and pretending you’re not a monster!” Ayato yelled at her as he kicked her and continuously hurt her, while she tried to talk some sense in him but she got cut off everytime.
“Your wings are useless. Let me clip them for you!” He said angrily as she fell to floor while trying to use her half Ukaku kagune to escape him or at least get out of his way but there was no point- he had a full Kagune unlike hers and was faster, meaner and stronger…he’d accepted being a ghoul. He pinned her down with his knee on her back, feasting on her Kagune as she screamed.
“You taste disgusting. Get this through your thick skull, Touka. If you want to accomplish anything in this world, you need power. Do you know why you’re losing? It’s because you’re weak. Just like dad.” He sighed gently as he wiped the blood from his mouth onto his sleeve, still keeping her pinned and placing his hand on the back of her head to keep her down. At this point he was just messing with her.
“Help…me..dad” Touka sighed as she struggled to breath, the blood loss from her Kagune being ripped out and eaten was overwhelming and making her weaker. Ayato had already turned to leave.
“You’re pathetic, calling for dad at a time like this. He’s dead and gone, Touka!” He exhaled sharply, stopping in his tracks and forming his Ukaku to shoot crystals at her as she laid there defenceless.
You’d wondered off from the rest of your group, ending up hearing the commotion and instinctively walking towards it. You stood on the roof above them, watching Ayato terrorise his sister. It’s time to act, who do you side with?
