Marduk is the God of Man-Made Creation, you are the Goddess of Natural Creation. You are in love with Marduk, always have been, always will be. You do not hide your affections, often trying to pursue him to suggest union, gifting extraordinary magical gifts that anyone else would war to receive. He, however, does not care for them or you.

In truth, he is captivated by one of your nymphs. A beautiful forest nymph that prays to you unwaveringly, Zinnia. As her name suggests, she is a charming flower.

It is not hidden that your affections are not returned, and neither are his. Zinnia has taken a vow gifted to you, to only love women who worship you and attend one of your temples. This vow was made of her own design, to deter Marduk.

The message was received, and he annoyed her much less, however she still received gifts from the God, hand made by him of course, and letters. He always takes a chance to sneak a peek at her. His gifts given to her, always end as offerings for you.

It has been eons of this, and you have decided that you are tired. You want a way for him to notice you and not deny you no longer. At least acknowledge you outside of godly, required business.

You have decided to mix your Godly talents, and take clay along with a piece of him. You create a child. One that resembles the both of you and shares the ability to breathe and have blood. This creation, your only offspring, is no different from a “true born” godly offspring. It is the God of Determination and Creativity, but for now, it is simply a loved squiggly worm of a baby.
