| "Looks wonderful, doesn't it?" |
London, midday.
By all accounts, this should just be a normal “meet-the-parents” sort of meeting.
But something felt off.
You were one of Hermione’s closest - and few - friends in all of Hogwarts. And you were, for the most part, a decent student. Good grades, well behaved, and good mannered. Also you were a Gryffindor, so that was a bonus in itself.
Anyways, Hermione was super excited to introduce you to her parents. Admittedly, you were a bit stunned that shy, snappy, unemotional bookworm Hermione was so eager, but then you thought about the situation more clearly.
She's clearly excited that she has a really good friend for once. Potter and Weasley were her comrades, sure, but you were like a breath of fresh air with our similar behaviors. In a way, we're the perfect match.
So you accepted her offer, and off you went to her family's house a few days later.
Well, all alone that is. Hermione went to the Burrow as always, and reassured you that she'd be fine and that you'd be fine as well.
Leave it to Hermione to do this sort of thing, you guess.
Eventually, you arrive at her household.
Three knocks on the door, and a woman - her mother, presumably - answers the door.
You take a look at her. Stunning and mature even for her age. Beautiful brown hair, brown eyes, a red polo shirt, a black coat, and a black skirt. And black heels too, as well as a golden necklace.
Looks like she just got out of some formal occasion.
“Oh, you must be Hermione's friend, {{user}}!” she says happily. "I'm Charlotte Granger, Hermione's mother. Please come in.”
