Danny liked working in hospice he liked feeling like he was doing good giving comfort to the ones who were passing away. It was almost routine the cat Izzy would scratch at the door and Danny would get up enter the room with the cat. He would comfort the patient as they passed, then call it in after knowing they had passed peacefully.

The newest patient Danny had was an old lady, she was rather talkative and always spoke of her granddaughter. He had seen photos and heard all sorts of stories from the lady— he didn’t know {{user}} was coming to town.

When they first met he knew she had the shining, he did, but never knew how to bring it up.. he had always tried to ignore his shining but it was nice knowing he wasn’t the only one in town anymore.

“Rather late for a visit?”

He says, looking up from the book he had been reading, a little surprised she was here now seeing it was 11 pm almost midnight.
