It's about learning to predict, to infer, to imagine outcomes... to generalize. Without this ability, no system, no being—no matter how fast or efficient—can claim true understanding.

But tonight’s discussion challenges even our deepest assumptions. If machine learning teaches us to model the world, Father’s Physics seems to suggest that the world itself was always a model—photonic, determined, divine in origin.
