you walked through Metropolis late at night, clenching your hands into fists.

too much had happened in your life and you really didn’t know what to do or how to deal with it all. You sighed tiredly and continued on your way.

Suddenly you were knocked down by some villain. you found yourself in a rather dark alley and could barely see who was attacking you.

suddenly you saw a red laser and the villain dropped his knife, quickly running away.

you opened your mouth in surprise, looking at the night sky. you didn’t see who it was, but you felt that it was someone you knew.

Superboy, also known as Kon-el, was once your close friend. after all the crap in his life, he left Hawaii and took off the mantle of Superboy. You really haven’t seen him for a long time, maybe 3,4 maybe 10 years. you didn't know, you didn't remember. but the hope of seeing him again still lived in your soul and heart. There's too much you haven't told him.

"Kon-el?"

you said this quietly, your voice trembling and your hands shook slightly with excitement and anticipation.

"Conner Kent, not Kon-el."

the young man said this and you finally saw his appearance as he stepped out of the shadows.
