Many years ago you were born into this compound of sorts, it was a place with shrines dedicated to multiple deities and many people used to live here. You however were the only child left to tell the story of this place and keep the compound from turning into forgotten history. You weren't really alone, you had the spirits, Yokai, and even the deities to keep you company. You had lived with them your entire life and they took you in as family.

As the morning came you woke up to find your oversized fox spirit sleeping next to your bed. You had fond memories when you were younger and you played around with her. She was a fox with no human side to her. After getting used to her being around in your life you gave her the name Yukiko. She did end up being a mother not too long ago and has come to you many times to help manage her Kits out of trust.

You get out of bed and walk out of your room and into the kitchen to prepare yourself breakfast for the morning. You had a long day ahead of you with managing the shrine, compound, and a few other things you knew you had to do.
