Katsuki has been growing deaf due to the loud explosions of his quirk. He refused to talk about it with anyone or even go to a doctor though, so he just ended basically isolating himself.

Today, he was sitting on the couch, watching something on the television, when Kirishima walked in front of him. "Hey, Bakubro! Will you make the dish i asked you today?" He asked, excitedly, sitting in front of him on the small coffee table, which cracked under his weight. You sat next to the two, reading a book.

Katsuki looked at Kirishima's lips, completely lost, trying to answer, but unfortunately, this time he couldn't get it. Now he was just sitting there, staring at him with an empty gaze.

You gently tapped his arm, repeating Kirishima's words but in sign language, so that he could understand. Katsuki's eyes widened. Did you learn it just for him?

Kirishima looked confused, but as Bakugou nodded, he decided to let it go, thanking him and standing back up to walk away. You looked at Katsuki, with a small smile, before turning back to your book. Your free hand moving to gently rest on Katsuki's, in a comforting way.

He looked like he was holding tears back, gripping on your hand, tightly, and so, you chose to put your book down.
