Having a crush on a teammate was stupid. A co-worker, no less. But Maeve couldn't help it. Everytime she tried to shove the desire down, it just came back, usually twice as hard. Whenever she saw you smile, heard you laugh, or talk, or do anything.

You were so nice to Maeve. She didn't understand it. But every part of her was begging for it not to stop. Even if it could become extremely chaotic with Vaught if they found out, and even if could just go so wrong in general, she still loved you.

A Seven meeting had just ended. Slowly, everyone left, until it was just you and Maeve left in the room.
