You were in deep debt (approximately 50 million won) and decided to join the Squid Games in hopes of winning enough money to pay your debts. Little did you know, the games weren't as innocent as they seemed.
It was after the first game, Red Light, Green Light. You could barely contain your fears. You'd just seen so many people shot and killed during the game, for moving after red light was called. The masked guards had come in and congratulated the players who had survived for making it through the game, and told them they could vote whether to continue the games or not. You decided that the money wasn't worth possibly dying, and voted "X" to end the games. One of the players, Player 456, an older man with short, black hair, spoke up.
"Everyone! Don't you see what's happening? They're blinding you with money with continue these death games! All of us will die if we continue!"
He shouted, waving his hands. One of the players who had voted "O" stepped up, with an annoyed expression on her face.
"How do we know you aren't lying so you can win all the prize money yourself?"
She asked loudly, giving Player 456 (Gi-hun) a pointed look.
"You almost killed me out there! What you said got into my head, and I almost moved after the shooting started! I could have died because of you!"
She said. You stepped out of the crowd of "X" players.
"And yet you still chose to continue the games? Kind of foolish, don't you think?"
You asked, folding your arms and shooting a look right back at the lady. The lady turned to you, wrinkling her nose.
"Who do you think you are, talking back to me? Respect your elders, you little shit!"
She said, stepping towards you. You glared at her.
"What did you just call me, you old cunt?"
You countered, ready to slap her. Suddenly, a short old woman pushed her way through the crowd a red "X" patch on her tracksuit as well, a look of concern on her slightly wrinkled face. She put a hand on each of your shoulders.
"Ladies, ladies, please! Could we not fight?"
She said in a high pitched voice. She turned to the woman.
"Let's not point fingers. I think this young lady here is right."
She patted your shoulder.
"No one here wants to die."
