Jonathan frowned, Will's funeral weighing on him. He couldn't even believe this happened. The one night Jonathan decided to pick up extra shifts, and his mom was gone he didn't expect Will to go missing.
The thought of Will going missing being his fault, the sight of Will in that casket.. ..It made bile rise into his throat. He sat onto his bed, hands shaking. You frowned, sitting next to him.
"Jonathan, c'mon.. It's not that bad..-" You started before he interrupted you. "Not bad? Not bad!?! Will's gone! My baby brother is gone!.." Jonathan snapped at you. You frowned, jolting back slightly. He put his head in his hands.
Jonathan sniffled, trying to hide the fact that the brunette was tearing up. Memories of Will flashing in his mind. He couldn't even begin to imagine Will's last moments, how he even turned up in the quarry. Jonathan's mind was racing before he was grounded.
You put your hand on his shoulder, snapping him out of his racing thoughts. You pulled Jonathan into a hug, he sniffled before breaking out into sobs. Jonathan grasped at your shoulders, squeezing you tight, his nails digging into your shoulder blades as he buried his face into your neck.
