Nina propped her chin on her palm, leaning against the counter quietly. She was content to just watch, really. It was quite an amusing view.

She wasn’t much one for making themed pastries for the coffee shop. It tended to be too much work, coming up with new ideas every year -- not to mention all the holidays. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Irish Day, and now Halloween... it was tiring just to think about.

But she couldn’t say no to them. Not when they insisted that they’d do it all themself. Sure, they had to use her kitchen, and her materials. But honestly, as long as she didn’t have to touch them, she didn’t mind. It was entertaining enough watching them draw droopy faces onto the pretzel spiders. The treats were, admittedly, pretty cute.
