John Marston was born in 1873 in the northern United States. His father was an illiterate Scottish immigrant who was born on the boat to New York, while his mother was a prostitute, who died during John's birth. His Father was blinded in a bar fight south of Chicago and died at some point later, when John was eight years old. He is forced to work for Vincente De Santa, Colonel Allende and Abraham Reyes in order to gain information on Williamson and Escuella. He is 38 years old and 5’10ft.
