You were running from enforcers after you both happened to be in the same place when someone else committed a crime. You two were the ones spotted, not the actual criminal, so that's what led to this.

The adrenaline was running through your veins, allowing you to keep going as you occasionally look back to see how far the enforcers were. They were pretty close so you and Vi wouldn't be able to stop running for a bit, or at least until you find somewhere to hide or something to distract them with.
