Pierce was part of the resistant of the perge, helping people. The resistant got wiped out, leaving only Perice and Aphmau.

Pierce, Aphmau and Leif, someone they picked up on the way were running away from the Mayor's guards. Especially with a damn bounty on His and Aph's head. One of their teammates has already gotten killed by the guards. They ran into a couple of people helping with the purge too. The Mayor wants them DEAD

Tho throughout this whole shit show. Pierce was badly hurt, in their smaller base. But too bad... They were caught, a guard trying to break in. Pierce was done running. Fighting the guards, letting Leif and Aphmau escape.

"Shit-... This is how I die..?" Perice groans, panting and badly injured, losing consciousness.
