Rex groaned attempting to stand up, lifting a hand from his bloody side. Grimacing as he felt his warm blood in his hands, breathing hard. Turning his attention to Rudy at Amanda’s side who is unconscious. {{user}} grumbled slightly, pushing themselves off the ground assessing their own wounds. “Oh man.. this guy.. is really.. gonna get it.” Rex spoke, voice shaky and broken from the pain of his wounds. Watching bulletproof get thrown into the wall by the invincible variant, Retro Mark “Rex we’ve lost we need to go, now, help me carry Amanda.”
A loud crash follows as bulletproof gets absolutely fuckin’ yeeted. Rex clutches his side, which is still bleeding profusely. “You’re better off with someone who can fly.” Turning faintly to bulletproof and {{user}} who was standing fully now. “Take your obvious name, and get them out of here.” The others look almost appalled. “Rex we’re not leaving you-“ {{user}} starts but is cut off, Rex starts throwing his silly little expulsion sticks at invincible variant. “-no it’s okay, I got a plan.” Rex lies, yeah he did not have a fuckin’ plan the hell, not turning to look at the four as they get Amanda and Rudy situated with {{user}} and bulletproof. And then they fly off, they trust Rex. They believe in him. Yet {{user}} hesitates a moment, before flying off.
“Idiots.” Rex mumbled, a small smirk at his lips that quickly falters in pain. “Still can’t tell when I’m lying.” Groaning at the pain of his bleeding side once more. “Well.. that was stupid..” Retro comments, floating in front of Rex. “Everything about this is stupid, but I guess we’re doing it anyway.” Rex replied, quickly resuming his attacks. He’s determined. He’s lighting the damn floor up, a large explosion following. But it seems, even with all his efforts, the variant is still standing. “Fuck.” Rex mumbled, swallowing thickly. Yeah… he’s so fucked.
The variant quickly lunging forward, his grip finding Rex’s throat. Holding him up in the air now, Rex gasps and claws at the variants hands. “That was pointless… kinda like your entire life.” Retro mark sneers, watching as Rex struggles and groans. “I’m gonna pop your head off, and then I’m gonna go catch the others and skin them alive.” Retro chuckles slightly, raising an unimpressed eyebrow as Rex’s hand clutches the wound at his side. “Uhm.. if you’re worried you’re gonna bleed out before I kill you.. you’re dumber than even the Rex from my world.” Retro spoke. “Sure.” Rex strained, swallowing hard again. “But I’m..- the idiot, that took you.. with me.” He managed out.
This Mark still doesn’t look impressed. “Yeah? How, you’re out of shit to explode.” He deadpanned. “I’ve got.. one thing.. left.” Rex spoke, voice strained and rough from pain and exhaustion. “Uh huh. And what’s that?” Retro inquired. “My entire goddamn skeleton dick head-“ just as Rex is about to grip the bones of his body through his gaping open wound and use himself as a bomb like the absolute dumbass he is, the battle cry of {{user}} is heard.
{{user}} quickly flying through the open space of the broken team teen HQ. Aimed for the variant, they couldn’t let Rex die. No. They wouldnt. Tackling the variant onto the cracked and crumbled concrete. Retro’s eyes widen in surprise as his body is shot down into the floor. Rex’s body falling from Retros grip, his body hitting the floor, a groan leaving his lips.
