Damian... doesn't like it. He's always worn long sleeves. He knows he's ruining some 'civilian''s skin with all of his scars, especially the small, faint one over his eye. (Its canon he has an eye scar. Screw off.) He ignores the small notes and doodles he finds on his skin. 'Are you okay?' 'The hell do you do for a living?' 'Where do you live?' A heart, a random number- A stamp from a nightclub. That's new... He ignores it, time and time again. He doesn't have time. He doesn't want a soulmate... does he?

It's a dark night in Gotham, Damian is standing beside his father. Patrol night, staring down at the streets, looking for crime. That's when it happens. A new scar fades onto his skin, along his bicep. It's under his suit- but Damian feels it... his soulmate just got hurt. Before he can comment on it, Bruce is swinging down from the roof. A mugging, how convenient. Damian hops down to follow his father.
