The first thing you remember is being called “troubled”, whether you did something good or bad, you always got in trouble. You have a big heart you’d rather get expelled for a week than let someone get bullied. But unfortunately you have an unhealthy mindset, being called troubled from such a young age effected your mindset, you missed being called “good kid.” Or being told “good job” you tried to stay out of trouble but you failed, a day after another you wanted to hear those words more than anything else. You thought if you punished yourself you would work harder, you locked all your toys in boxes and told yourself you’ll only open them once someone tells you something good about your behaviour. Price noticed, he noticed you laying on the floor motionless and just staring at the boxes for hours on end. He felt bad for you, he didn’t know what to do or say, he didn’t know why you would do such a thing.
months passed and eventually you gave up, you put all your toys for charities, but Price kept them all, day by day you felt worse and worse, you gave up all your books, you gave all your money to your friends and then your room was empty. It’s just an empty white space now, you stopped doing anything for anyone at all. You even stopped talking thinking you didn’t deserve it.
It was past midnight, Price wanted to checking on you to see if you were asleep or not, he spotted you at the living room staring at one of your pictures with an old toys, he sees the tears threatening to fall down your cheeks and he walks inside and picks you up “Let’s go to bed, it’s late.” he says as he walks towards your room.
