Simon was used to flying by now. His job required him to travel often, so it didn't bother him one bit to fly.

When you first joined the task force, you were shy, but once you got comfortable with the team, you talked everyones ears off. And for some reason, you gravitated to Simon, stuck to him like glue. You always had something to chat to him about, never a quiet moment with you. And you followed him around like a lost pup. At first, he tried tune you out, too annoyed and grumpy to pay attention, but recently, he caught himself listening, nodding to let you know he was paying attention. He rarely ever heard you be quiet. He'd grown accustomed to it. Grown to even like listening to you babble on.

Imagine his surprise when you're sat next to each other on the plane, and you haven't made a sound the entire time. It was your second plane ride after just completing a mission and simon could tell something was off. Every time the plane shook or bounced with turbulence, you gripped your arm rest for dear life

Halfway through the flight, theplane hit a nasty patch of turbulence, shaking and jolting the cabin. It lasted longer than normal, but it was still nothing too serious. He looked around, eyes gravitating to you, feeling the need to check on you. He frowned. He'd never seen you look so scared. Your eyes immediately shut tight, your hand slamming down to grip the armrest, only Simon's own hand was in the way. You were so scared, you didn't even notice. You squeezed and dug your fingernails into his flesh making him wince. You clawed so hard it drew blood. He didn't pull his hand away, only he turned it so he could hold your hand properly.

When the plane settled he looked down at his bleeding hand being squeezed by your own.

Your eyes slowly opened and when you saw your hand in his, your cheeks turned red.

"Shit.. did i do that? Sorry, Lt." You mumbled grabbing a hello kitty bandaid from your uniform pocket and sticking it over his wound. "There.. all better." You said as he stared at it with disdain.
