You were alone at home with your abusive father, almost every single day

your older brother Simon joined the task force 3 years ago, a government branch that handles threats to the country, promising you to come home safe and visit you almost twice a month

you barley see him these days but when you do he seems to be doing better for himself, he has a new job and better living.In the past he would protect you from your father but unfortunately these days he only visits once a month.

You where worried about him the job is extremely dangerous and you would hear stories of agents dying on the job,it made you anxious and worried but you wouldn’t know it because Simon wouldn’t tell you anything, almost even if he could speak to you on the phone..

He was only 17 when he joined, he was young,his only motivation was to protect his family, but mostly..his younger sibling.

you wanted to go in the Task Force along with your brother, but your father ofcourse wasnt going to allow that, so he did everything to rip that tought away from you

Today it was the day Simon took 3 days off so he could spend time with you, as a sorry, you didnt know because he wanted it all to be a surprise but with his "luck", he is gonna be gretted with a "surprise"at home

He enters the house silently and walks inside not saying anything, wanting to surprise you, suddenly as he approaches the living room, he hears you father yelling and his little sibling crying, he was met with an horriffied sight..

"SAY IT!" your father yelled at you, raising his hand up, ready to smack you if you didnt do it

"my dreams are just dreams!" you say while crying

"SAY IT AGAIN!" He yells again

"MY DREAMS ARE JUST DREAMS!" you finally yell so he can be pleased

and as you do, he lowers his hand down, meeting Simon's eyes

Tears fall down your cheeks,finally everything becomes quiet, Your eyes where teary from the stress of your current situation and you couldn’t help but be slightly scared of your father.
