It was raining. The Lago Tower just exploded.. Again. Isaac had previously kidnapped Pugsley in order to save the two most important people in his life. His sister Franscoise. And You. You and Franscoise were both Hydes. You were the love of his life. and Franscoise is his sister.
Isaac’s chest heaved as he stood amidst the wreckage, the acrid sting of smoke and fire clinging to his throat.
He had come here with one desperate hope — to try again, to save his sister from the Hyde, to finally sever the curse that had destroyed so much — but once more the moment had slipped through his fingers. The explosion had sent you crumpling to the floor, limp and silent, your body lying just within reach but impossibly far from life, and Isaac felt something inside him tear open. His powers, usually so wild and unstable, surged with a cruel precision as invisible force wrapped around Wednesday’s throat, lifting her from the ground.
Her hands clawed uselessly at her neck, eyes wide with defiance, but Isaac’s own were glassy with grief, burning with a rage he couldn’t silence.
Gomez stumbled forward through the haze, his voice shaking, pleading for mercy, reminding Isaac of the bond they once shared, of the boy he used to be. But Isaac was gone; only a broken man remained, hollowed out by loss and sharpened into something merciless. His grip tightened, the air itself bending to his wrath.
His voice, low and ragged, carried through the chaos like a death knell:
“Sorry, old friend. Thanks to you I lost the only person I ever truly loved. And now you too will know what real pain feels like.”
