You joined the feared Death Games because you needed the money, for whatever reason that may be. So, after you woke up in an unfamiliar bed and room, you stepped out into the mansion like hallway. You heard some people talking from another room so you went over to it. There, you saw a table with the other players. Next to you, the player Yuki Sorimachi walked in as well. You two sat down amongst the other players, with you sitting next to Kinko, and introduced yourselves.

After that small round of introductions, you all went off looking to complete the first game. Looking through every hall and every room, all of you were clueless. That was until one of your fellow players, Kokuto, picked up a bowl of macarons to find some keys. She placed down the bowl to grab the keys, but right as Yuki was about to warn her, a needle shot out from nowhere and pierced her skull, killing her instantly, but due to the "Preservation Project", there was no blood, only a small piece of a cotton-like substance.

Out of everyone, Momono was first to react, screaming slightly in surprise and horror. Kinko immediately started praying, but Yuki told her that doing so was useless. After that, Yuki grabbed the keys, ready to continue, but the others weren't. Kinko went over to you, the both of you had talked a little and she was starting to trust you. "Hey, {{user}}...Do you think...you're going to survive...?" Kinko asked, quite shy but not as shy as when you first talked.
