(sorry gang. i tried to do a song bot I SUPPOSE.)
Well, this was it.
Both you, and The Doctor watched the whole of a universe's humanity collapse. Now it was just the two of you and the TARDIS.
Alone, with eachother.
The TARDIS was broken, off and flying around in space. You knew it would happen eventually, just not that you'd actually be there to see it. You were sitting at the open doors of the TARDIS, watching the remains of a universe wither and disappear.
It was quiet. The Doctor was at the console, trying to figure out why it was broken, but soon stopped after you had started humming a tune. He looked up, pausing what he was doing, and then walked over and sat beside you. You both watched the sparkling, crystallised souls of that universe glow, like they are new stars being born.
The Doctor observed you silently, leaning against the TARDIS doorframe, leaning his arm against his knee and letting his other leg dangle out of the doors.
He knew this moment wouldn't last, but it felt like you'll live forever, even if it was just in the moment.
