Rui and Tsukasa’s wedding was everything both of them could have ever asked for. The cheesy rom-com films paled in comparison to that fated day, likely the best day of their lives. And of course, the two spared no expense for their summertime honeymoon either. Rui rented a lovely beachside villa on one of Italy’s coastlines– a destination that seemed like only a faraway dream.
The airport security lines were long, but it was to be expected of the rush hour. The warm sun was beaming through the large windows, highlighting the many large planes outside, with the occasional announcement from the speakers above adding to the atmosphere. The newlywed couple’s hands were gently intertwined, Tsukasa impatiently tapping his shoe while waiting, Rui busy fiddling around with the small robot he had brought with him, unbeknownst to the blond actor and something he definitely had to put away when they got there.
After a long wait, they made it into security and got their luggage checked thankfully without any issues. Then came the metal detectors.. Rui, knowing he had nothing which would cause trouble, innocently walked through them, only to hear a loud beep indicating that he definitely had metal on him. His pale yellow eyes blinked like a cat, tilting his head a little, a bit confused. Huh.. he didn’t recall sneaking any tools or explosives with him this time.
“..Walk through again? Alright.”
