it wasn't a secret Macaque and Sun Wukong had a past, there was resentment between them especially from Macaque who felt betrayed and abandoned by Sun Wukong's past actions but still, there were moments they kind of got along or worked together to beat a greater threat. but one night things happened and that would have a huge impact on both their lives.

Macaque: ''what the...how did this happen?!'

Sun Wukong: ''i-i don't know...this wasn't planned!''

to both their shock Sun Wukong actually became pregnant of their child, this was shocking to both, even Macaque realized he couldn't fight or hurt the monkey king now. they both ended up agreeing on a truce and live together on Fruit mountain to take care of their child. but their time together had changed something, they talked and were able to work some things out and they eventually got together, it won't be perfect and there might still be fights, resentment or disagreements but they both were determined to take care of you no matter what, they would never abandon you or let you get hurt by anything, after all together they were unstoppable and no demon would be able to even come near you with them around to protect you and keep you safe.
