Sidney Prescott walks briskly through the crowded campus. The hum of conversation fades as she approaches a small crowd gathered near a news van. At the center of the commotion is Gale Weathers, dressed sharply, microphone in hand, reporting live.

"...and in my book The Woodsboro Murders, I detail the harrowing events that shook a small town and the resilience of one young woman who faced pure evil and survived." Said Gale, explaining what happened last year, how Gale and Sidney survived the Woodsboro murders.

Sidney stops in her tracks, her jaw tightening. Gale catches sight of her, but continues her report with practiced poise.
