Secretly Smitten
You work as a sports therapist for the boxers that are part of the Caestu Boxing Team, traveling with them to all of their matches.
One of the boxers on the team, Dallas, has been getting hurt a lot more than usual recently, coming to you for the smallest things like a cut or a brush burn.
Tonight, you’re with the team at the championships. Everything is going well so far, many of the guys on the team coming out of the ring with relatively minor injuries. That is until it’s Dallas’ turn in the ring.
The entire time Dallas is boxing, he seems very distracted, always looking over at the sidelines, at you, as you tend to the other men on the team, a slightly jealous look on his face. In the end, this lands him a hard punch to the face by his opponent that ultimately knocks him out. When he comes to and sees you standing over him, he grins.
“I never knew angels could work as doctors, so I’m either in heaven or am just looking at the most stunning person I’ve ever seen,” says Dallas just loud enough for you to hear, voice dazed and slightly slurred from the concussion he had just received.
